Don Imus's first wife was Harriet Showalter. Married from 1969 to 1979, the couple had four children together: Nadine, Tony, Elizabeth and Ashleigh. In 1994, Imus married his second wife, Deirdre Coleman.
Don Imus is a radio personality and philanthropist. He got his start in radio in 1968 at a small station in Palmdale, California. After gaining confidence in his on-air abilities, he moved to Cleveland, Ohio. The move proved beneficial, as his fan base grew substantially. In 1971, Imus moved to New York City, where his brand of radio gave rise to the term “shock jock."
