Regis Philbin's first wife was Kay Faylan, with whom he had two children. He then married his second wife, Joy Senese, in 1970, and they had two daughters.

Philbin, known for appearing on talk shows and game shows since 1967 when he appeared on "The Joey Bishop Show," hosted "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" and "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." Philbin and his first wife had a daughter, Amy, who was born in 1961, and a son, Daniel, who was born in 1967. His son was born with debilitating birth defects. Philbin's daughters Joann and Jennifer were born in 1973 and 1974 respectively.
