How durable are plastic wheels?

The durability of plastic wheels depends on the type of plastic they are made of. Wheels moulded from polyolefin are abrasion resistant, can withstand impact and high shock load. Wheels made from nylon 6 have the same durable features just like the latter, and they are exceptionally abrasion resistant.
Plastic wheels are washable because they are impervious to water. Additionally, plastic wheels are often resistant to organic solvents, such as those in oil and cleaning solutions. Polyolefin can withstand a temperature range of minus 40 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, while nylon 6 can withstand a temperature range of minus 40 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit.
