Has Earthborn Holistic dog food ever been recalled?

As of June 2015, Earthborn Holistic has never issued a recall for any of its products. Midwestern Pet Foods Inc. manufactures Earthborn Holistic. The company produces other pet food products, including Pro Pac Dog Food and Sportmix Dog Food, for which there have also been no recalls.

Midwestern Pet Foods is very careful in the way it chooses its ingredients, stating that if an ingredient is available from a U.S. supplier, the company uses that source. The only non-U.S. ingredients in Earthborn Holistic Dog Food are lamb meal and flaxseed, which the company imports from Australia/New Zealand, and Canada respectively.
