How easy is it to locate the fuel pump relay?
By Forinfos - 01/05/2026 - 0 comments
Most fuel pump relays are located near the fuse box or panel, which is usually found under the hood or under the dashboard. If the relay is not near the fuse panel, it may take some additional exploration around the engine to find it.
The fuel pump relay sends a signal to the fuel pump to turn on when it detects that the engine is starting. If the car is not starting, a faulty fuel pump relay is one explanation. To test whether or not the fuel pump relay is working, touch it when starting the car to see if it clicks. If it does not click, then the fuel pump relay may need to be repaired or replaced.
