Does eBay require a seller have an account to sell collectibles and memorabilia?
By Forinfos - 22/09/2025 - 0 comments
eBay requires all sellers to have an eBay account with a confirmed name, address, phone number, automatic payment method and verified PayPal account. This information is necessary for tax information and for eBay to collect seller fees automatically.
Using eBay a seller of collectibles and memorabilia may choose to auction off items to the highest bidder or put a set price on an item. Sellers may also set a starting bid or a low-end bid limit that must be met for the item to be sold. Sellers may accept any one or combination of payment methods, including debit or credit cards, funds from PayPal accounts, or money orders.
