Where does Evian water come from?

Evian water is bottled from water that emerges from the Cachat Spring in Évian-les-Bains, France. The water is bottled directly from the source into bottles; it is not altered or touched in any way.
The water in Cachat Spring is derived from melting snow and rain from the Alps, and it takes more than 15 years for the water to reach the aquifer to undergo the bottling process. On its way to Evian's plant, it runs through glacial sand and clay.
Évian-les-Bains is a luxury resort town. It draws thousands of visitors each year who seek the rejuvenating waters of Cachat Spring.
