What are Evie Cleverbot games?

Evie is an online avatar that uses the Cleverbot artificial intelligence script to simulate human interaction. Evie is an acronym for Electronic Virtual Interactive Entity.

Existor created the Eviebot program and website. The Evie avatar appears as a fully expressive female face. Users interact with Evie by either entering text into a box or by using a microphone to speak directly to her using a text-to-speech engine. In June 2015, Existor created Boibot as a male avatar.

The artificial intelligence script used by Eviebot, Boibot and Cleverbot was created in 1988 by Rollo Carpenter. The program collects user input and chooses how to respond based on the millions of interactions it has experienced before.
