Is there an extended warranty on Trane appliances?

Trane offers an optional extended warranty for its appliances and systems, which can be purchased within five years from the date of sale. The coverage of the extended warranty can be bought in five or ten year increments and can also be renewed.

The extended warranty has options to cover parts only or parts and labor, depending on the preferences of the customer. It is fully transferable if the property where it is installed is sold. It also has a built-in product replacement advantage. However, repairs due to lack of routine maintenance by an independent Trane dealer are not covered by this extended warranty.
