By Forinfos - 15/07/2025 - 0 comments
Female Eclectus parrots are female birds that are bright red with black beaks and purple markings on their chests and tails. In contrast, male Eclectus are emerald green with orange beaks and red and blue splashes under their wings.
Both male and female Eclectus parrots reach an adult size of about 20 inches and have a lifespan of roughly 50 years. Eclectus are very friendly and intelligent birds that make great pets for a devoted owner. These birds thrive on their owner's attention and can easily feel neglected if they are not incorporated into daily routines. The Eclectus requires a high-fiber diet, which includes lots of fruits, vegetables and carbohydrates such as pasta.
