Where is the female groin muscle?
By Forinfos - 03/03/2026 - 0 comments
Both the female and the male groin muscles insert in the center of the pelvis and fan along the medial side of the thigh bone. The groin muscles are a group of six muscles known as adductors.
Adductor muscles help pull the legs toward the midline and stabilize the hip joint. Groin muscles are used in walking, running, sprinting or any activity that involves quick changes in direction. Rapid movement against resistance, such as kicking, can result in a rupture or tear in the muscle, especially if a warmup is not performed before activity. Repetitive overuse of the groin muscle results in adductor tendinopathy, or inflammation of the groin.
