The Forehand Arms Company was a manufacturer of U.S. firearms in Worchester, Mass., that operated from 1890 to 1902, according to American Firearms. The company produced weapons including .32- and .38-caliber revolvers.
Wikipedia reports that the company previously was known as Forehand & Wadsworth, formed in 1871 by Henry C. Wadsworth and Sullivan Forehand. The two men were son-in-laws of Ethan Allen and formed their company from the remaining portion of Ethan Allen & Company after their father-in-law's death. Wadsworth, wishing to retire, sold his share of the company to Forehand in 1890, and the company took on the name of Forehand Arms.
