Four countries that possess islands located in the Caribbean Sea are the United States, the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands. Islands in the Caribbean Sea owned by the United States include the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, while those owned by France include Guadeloupe and Martinique.
Some of the islands in the Caribbean Sea possessed by the United Kingdom are the Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Montserrat and the Cayman Islands. The Netherlands possesses the island St. Eustatius. Other Caribbean islands possessed by countries include Venezuela's Isla Los Roques and Isla La Tortuga; Cuba's Isle of Youth; and Colombia's Isla de Providencia and Isla de San Andres.
