Do French bulldogs shed?

French bulldogs normally shed during a change in season. This shedding may continue throughout the year although it may be mild at times. The dogs have a fine, short coat with hair that is less noticeable when compared to other dog breeds.

French bulldogs are sensitive to temperature and should therefore be bathed in lukewarm water during cold days. Brushing the coat using a bristle brush will help get rid of loose fur that may otherwise cause a mess in the home. These dogs should be washed using dog products in order to help keep away parasites and ensure healthy skin development.
