Fun annual events at Baltimore's Inner Harbor include the Baltimore Boat Show, a Saint Patrick's Day Parade and the Baltimore Book Festival. An outdoor concert series occurs on Friday nights during the summer and a lighted boat parade takes place during the holiday season.

A children's fireworks show takes place each New Year's Day. On Easter, kids can visit with the Easter Bunny while their parents enjoy live performances. The city celebrates Harborplace's July birthday by sharing a large cake at the Inner Harbor. A few days later, visitors can enjoy a spectacular July 4th fireworks display. Each October, over 90 museums and cultural institutions waive admissions during Free Fall Baltimore.
