What is the game "Bookworm"?

"Bookworm" is a game developed by PopCap Games in which the player must form words from randomly given letters. Forming words enables the player's character to launch an attack against the antagonist.

As the player forms words, the used letters vanish from the grid and new letters fill the available space. The player can gain more points by creating longer words or by using uncommonly used letters.

A red burning tile may appear throughout the game. Once it reaches the bottom of the grid, it ends the game. By clicking the game character, Lex, all the letters scramble – but doing so hastens the production of red tiles.
