"General Hospital" is filmed in several locations, including the ABC Television Center. The studio is located in Los Angeles, California.

Most of the filming takes place in the studio, but it is also filmed in different areas depending on the scene being shot. Some filming takes place at the Greystone Park & Mansion in Beverly Hills, California. It is also filmed at Walt Disney's Golden Oak Ranch in Beverly Hills and Mount Rushmore National Memorial in Keystone, South Dakota. General Hospital first aired in 1963, and it was filmed in the former ABC television center in studio D until 1977.
