What are some good stain removal products for a wool carpet?

Remove stains from wool carpets with gentle cleaners made from common household products such as baking soda, vinegar, water, and dishwasher detergent. Do not use commercially available carpet cleaners because they are too alkaline to use on wool.

Dry the stained area immediately, then sprinkle baking soda over the area. After 30 minutes, vacuum the baking soda. Then mix 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon gentle liquid dishwasher detergent and 2 cups of lukewarm water together. Add a small amount of the cleaning mixture to the stained area, and scrub the stain. Add clean water, and blot dry with a towel.
