What is the Google 3D Warehouse?
By Forinfos - 28/08/2025 - 0 comments
3D Warehouse is a collaborative project between Google and Trimble Navigation Limited. The Warehouse allows product and architectural designers to share, submit and collaborate on 3D models made in SketchUp, a 3D modeling program.
Product manufacturers and designers can submit 3D models of architecture, equipment parts and product designs to the 3D Warehouse. Designers who upload models of buildings and landmarks also have the option of uploading their creations to Google Earth to serve as representations of real life locations. A Google account is required to use the 3D Warehouse, and all files must be submitted in KMZ format as of 2015.
