Which side of a trolley do you pass when you are driving?
By Forinfos - 28/05/2026 - 0 comments
When passing a trolley in a vehicle, pass on the right side, whether it is moving or standing. This practice should be followed unless otherwise directed by a traffic coordinator or police officer.
Passing a streetcar or trolley on the right side is necessary for the safety of passengers boarding or leaving the car. It also makes passing traffic more visible to the driver, as he or she has more blind spots than a car might have. Exceptions to this rule also include one-way streets and when tracks are too close to the right side that you cannot pass on that side.
