Grimwades Royal Winton is a pottery in the United Kingdom. Originally named Grimwades Brothers, the business name changed to Royal Winton in 1929. The pottery was founded in 1885 by Leonard Lumsden Grimwade.
Royal Winton is known for its chintz patterns available in over 60 designs. In the 1960s, the line was discontinued due to the cost of producing the patterns, making these designs popular in the antiques market.
Showrooms for the pottery were located in Stoke-on-Trent and London. The pottery was made in four different factories. The company was purchased by the current owners in 1995. In 1997, the popular chintz patterns were reintroduced.
