American Eagle's 77kids line was sold to Ezrani 2 Corp in 2012. Ezrani 2 relaunched the brand as RUUM American Kid's Wear, which offers online orders.
The children's brand was founded in 2008 and closed in 2012 by the American Eagle corporation. The Ezrani 2 corporation bought the company and had a temporary license to continue selling clothing under the 77kids label until early 2013. The Ezrani 2 corporation is owned by Ezra Dabah, who was the former CEO of The Children's Place, who paid 65 percent of the cost of the 77kids inventory. Clothing with the RUUM brand is available for purchase online at Ruum.com, as of 2015.
