Not only is it possible to pull a muscle in the chest, but according to MDhealth.com, pulled chest muscles are sometimes both painful and invasive to treat. These injuries often substantially lessen motor function and sometimes take months to heal if not treated properly.
MDhealth.com asserts that pulled chest muscles require treatment in the form of bed rest, surgery to relieve intense pain, physical therapy and even specialized exercises in order to restore motor function to its normal state. Although the symptoms of a pulled chest muscle are very similar to a heart attack, victims of pulled chest muscles are actually not in danger of death because of it.
