"QWOP" is a sporting video game in which a player controls a runner named Qwop using the Q, W, O and P keys of a computer. Bennett Foddy, a former Cut Copy bassist, developed the game in 2008.
The Q key lifts the right thigh of the athlete, and the W key moves the left thigh. The O and P keys contract the athlete's calves. A multiplayer version of the game debuted in 2012. In the multiplayer game, one player uses the Q, W, E and R keys to control her athlete, while the second player uses the U, I, O and P keys.
