The Hong Kong event of the Hong Kong IRB Rugby Sevens is traditionally held at Hong Kong Stadium, the primary sports venue in Hong Kong. The stadium is located in So Kon Po, a valley near Causeway Bay in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Stadium has twice hosted the IRB Rugby World Cup Sevens, once in 1997 and once in 2005.

The Hong Kong IRB Rugby Sevens is an annual rugby tournament event played in the city of Hong Kong. It is one of the nine games played in the Sevens World Series, an international rugby tournament featuring teams of seven rather than the traditional 15.
