Imagination Station is a non-profit science museum in downtown Toledo, Ohio. The museum covers 80,000 square feet and contains hundreds of hands-on exhibits and live demonstrations.
Toledo's science center opened in 1997 as COSI, or the Center of Science and Industry, before closing for financial reasons in 2007. In 2009 it reopened with the name Imagination Station and has since averaged over 200,000 visitors per year. Permanent exhibits include Energy Factory, which envisions a world of solar power and oil refining, and Grow U, which teaches visitors about farming and agriculture. Imagination Station also offers early childhood and scout programs and summer camp.
