What is an infrared grill?
By Forinfos - 31/05/2025 - 0 comments
An infrared grill is a cooking grill that uses infrared heat instead of a gas-fueled fire to cook meat or other foods. An infrared grill is typically able to cook faster than a traditional cooking stove as it emits heat at much higher temperatures.
The average infrared grill can generate between 900 to 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit of heat, which is much higher compared to the 700 to 750 degrees Fahrenheit that a charcoal or gas grill can generate. The first ceramic infrared burner was patented during the early 1980s, causing the technology to become expensive to produce for home use until the patent's expiration in 2000.
