Do they judge you on your cumulative GPA or current GPA when pledging Delta Sigma Theta?

A pledge to Delta Sigma Theta is judged based on their cumulative GPA, not only their current GPA. A graduate student applying to an alumnae chapter will also be judged based on cumulative GPA.

Delta Sigma Theta requires a student to complete at least 24 semester hours or 36 quarter hours in order to pledge. A college student applying for membership in the Delta Sigma Theta sorority must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or 1.75 on a 3.0 scale. The decision to utilize a cumulative GPA to evaluate pledges was made because a cumulative GPA evaluates a student's performance over a broad period, while a current GPA only evaluates performance for one semester or term.
