The Kilcher Family Homestead refers to the residences and surrounding property of the Kilcher family, from the Discovery Channel reality show "Alaska: The Last Frontier." It is located near Homer, Alaska and spans 600 acres.
The Kilcher Homestead started with a few log cabins to house members of the family. As the family grew, the homestead expanded to include additional housing, a living museum, a farm and a campsite. Visitors are welcome with advanced reservations.
The land is owned in trust by the Kilcher siblings, and many of them still reside on the homestead. It is also protected from modern development by a nature conservation easement.
