What kind of gas do you use in mini-bikes?

High octane gas from a gas station should be used in mini-bikes for best performance. The recommended fuel is 91-93 octane premium unleaded fuel, but 87 octane gas can be used as well. Diesel fuel of any type should not be used.

Oil and gas should never be mixed for use in mini-bikes. Only pure gasoline should be poured into the gas tank. The oil level should be checked periodically with the dipstick located on the front of the engine. SAE 10w40 oil should be used when it is time for an oil change, which is about every 1,000 miles.
