What are Taco mini bikes?

Taco Mini Bikes was a brand of small motorcycles on simplified, vintage-style frames originating in Southern California in the 1960s and 1970s. The brand has since been acquired and revived as Taco Motor Sports by California native Joe Rivello.

A mini bike is a miniature, one-passenger motorcycle with raised handlebars to facilitate adult riding. Taco Mini Bikes, which are sold as kits for private assembly, do not include engines. Although laws vary from state to state, mini bikes are generally not legal for public roads. Completed Taco Mini Bikes typically do not include mirrors, blinkers, horns or other standard safety features.
