What is a lace-front wig?
By Forinfos - 10/11/2025 - 0 comments
Lace-front wigs are capless and attach to the scalp with wig glue. Lace-front wigs have the advantage of better ventilation for the scalp compared to standard and mono-top wigs.
Lace fronts have a natural look along the hairline and offer versatility in styling, which is why they are often preferred over other types of wigs. Infection can occur if they're applied incorrectly, however. To apply this type of wig correctly, braid it to the scalp. Testing the glue before using it helps lessen the chance of infection. Natural hair under the wig can be left unwashed for up to a week. Longer wearing time requires regular washing.
