The USD (United States Denomination) $5 note features the face of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States. On the reverse side, the Lincoln Memorial is featured it its entirety.

Abraham Lincoln is one of the most famous and well-respected presidents in U.S. history. He was president during the Civil War and responsible for the abolition of slavery. Pictures of Abraham Lincoln featured on the front of the $5 note since its inception in 1914 were taken at Brady's Studio in Washington in 1864 by photographer Anthony Berger. He also photographed the side profile of Abraham Lincoln, which is used on the penny.
