What is the location of Kenya?

Kenya is a country located in east Africa. It borders the Indian Ocean to the east, Somalia to the northeast, Ethiopia to the north, Sudan to the northwest, Uganda to the west and Tanzania to the south.

Kenya has a total area of 224,962 square miles. Its capital city, Nairobi, is situated slightly south of the center point of the country. Its location affects its climate, as Kenya's coast is tropical with high rainfall and temperatures, but the climate grows more arid further into the African interior. Cooler in temperature, the Kenyan Highlands is one of the most successful agricultural production regions in Africa.
