Robert Parrish had the longest career in NBA history, spanning 21 seasons and 1611 games at the center position. Drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1976, his final season was a 1996-97 NBA title run with the Chicago Bulls.

After winning the NBA title with Chicago in 1996-97, Robert Parrish announced his retirement at age 43. Throughout 21 playing years, Parrish won four NBA championships and was voted to the all-star squad nine times. In 2003, Parrish was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He was also selected as one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history.
