How do you make anti-fog spray?

A home-made anti-fog spray can be made by mixing readily available ingredients, such as water, vinegar and dish-washing soap. To use this anti-fog solution, a spray bottle and a piece cloth are also needed.

By following the simple steps below, an inexpensive anti-fog recipe can be easily made at home.

1. Create a solution of water and vinegar in a 1:1 ratio

Combine one part water and one part vinegar, including several drops of dish-washing soap, in a spray bottle. Neutralize the pungent smell of vinegar by adding a few drops of lemon juice to the mixture.

2. Spray the solution onto the surface

Apply the anti-fog spray directly onto the affected glass surface. Wipe off the area using a towel.

3. Use newspaper to evenly wipe off the surface

Remove the remaining solution from the glass surface. Avoid streaks by using a newspaper instead of a piece of cloth.
