The first season of "Episodes" features seven episodes. It aired on Showtime from January 9, 2011 to February 20, 2011. It aired on BBC Two from January 10, 2011 to February, 21, 2011.

The series stars Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Mangan, John Pankow, Kathleen Rose Perkins and Mircea Monroe. It follows a British married couple, Sean and Beverly Lincoln, as they move to Hollywood to remake their successful British series. The studio wants LeBlanc to star in the remake. Sean and Beverly do not agree with the casting choice.

As of 2015, Showtime ordered a fifth season of "Episodes." Production begins in 2016. Season five has nine episodes, which brings the series total to 43.
