The Constitution has three parts. The Preamble is the Constitution's introduction. It is followed by the Articles, seven in total, and the Constitutional Amendments, which begin with the Bill of Rights.

The Articles of the Constitution pertain to various parts of governmental power. Article I refers to the Legislative Branch and Congress. Article II covers the Executive Branch and presidential powers. Article III involves the Judicial Branch and its courts. Article IV focuses on states' powers. Article V details the creation of amendments. Article VI initiates federal power and the supremacy clause, which makes the Constitution the supreme law of the land. Article VII states requirements for ratification of the Constitution.
