Although it is not known how many songs Jim Reeves performed, he recorded hundreds of songs on his 44 studio albums and 14 compilation albums. Jim Reeves was a country singer and songwriter popular in the 1950s and 1960s.

Reeves' debut single was "Mexican Joe" in 1953, a number one hit that quickly propelled his successful singing career. His popularity came from his crossover appeal. Many of Reeves' singles, including "He'll Have to Go" and "I Guess I'm Crazy," landed on the pop music charts as well as the country charts.

Reeves died in a plane crash in 1964. In 1967 Reeves was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
