Earth’s mass is approximately 5.9736E24 kilograms. In other words, it is 5.9 sextillion tonnes. Often referred to as "the world," Earth is the third planet from the sun.
Earth is the largest of the four terrestrial planets, and its mass is often used in describing masses of rocky terrestrial planets. Mercury, Venus and Mars are the other three terrestrial planets and have masses of 0.055, 0.815 and 0.107 Earth mass respectively. Earth has the highest density among all the planets in the Solar System because of its proportionally high mass for its size. It has a density of 5.52 grams per cubic centimeter.
