What is a mixture of two or more metals?
By Forinfos - 23/03/2025 - 0 comments
A mixture of two or more metals is called an alloy. The creation of alloys is a crucial discovery because of the various new and superior properties that combined metals can have.
When creating an alloy, there is a main metal component, which makes up the majority of the substance. It is then paired with an alloying agent, which is another metal or other material that makes up the remaining portion of the substance. Depending on the size of the atoms in the combing metal's chemical makeup, the new alloy can be called either a substitution alloy or an interstitial alloy.
