The amount of potassium in yogurt varies. Healthy Eating claims that yogurt has 380 milligrams of potassium per 8-ounce container, or 11 percent of the daily serving, while Huffington Post has the number at 531 milligrams per 8-ounce container.
Drugs.com has the level of potassium in yogurt at between 260-435 per 6 ounces of yogurt. Healthy Eating adds that if yogurt contains whole milk the amount of potassium increases to 420 milligrams per 8-ounce container, or 12 percent of the daily serving. Furthermore, Healthy Eating continues by stating that Greek yogurt has slightly less potassium, at an amount of 250 milligrams in a 6-ounce container.
