What is MyChart?

MyChart is an online portal that some medical providers use to communicate with their patients. It provides secure online access to all of the information that the provider has about the patient, and it is free for patients to use. The service is only available to patients of participating providers
Patients can use MyChart to request appointments and medication renewals, receive test results, and go over the instructions they received in their last visit. They can also review their medical records. If they need to communicate with the doctor or nurse, patients can send a message through the portal, and the doctor or nurse responds directly in a process similar to sending and receiving emails.
