What is needed to clean honeycomb window blinds?

A vacuum cleaner, a towel, dish soap and water are all that is needed to clean honeycomb blinds. While the blinds cannot be taken apart for cleaning, regular maintenance can help prevent a large amount of dust and dirt from accumulating.

Use a vacuum cleaner with an attachment to remove surface dust and dirt from problem areas without rubbing them further into the blinds. Once the blinds are vacuumed, a very weak mixture of water and dish soap helps remove stains. Remove the water mixture immediately with the towel to prevent further staining.

If a vacuum cleaner attachment is not available, a microfiber cloth can also help pick up loose material.
