Where does a Netgear admin log in?

An admin can log into a Netgear home router by opening up a web browser and navigating to Routerlogin.net. Alternatively, the router's IP address may be entered instead, which defaults to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.

The admin will be prompted for the router's username and password, which by default are "admin" and "password." Some very old models may use the password "1234" instead. Since this information is freely available online, the password should be changed as possible to prevent intrusion. If the password has been lost, then the router will need to be reset. This is done by holding down the Restore Factory Settings button on the bottom of the device.
