How do you take off the sensor tag from clothes?

To take the security tags off of purchased clothes, the individual needs an ice pick, a pair of horse nippers or wire cutters, and a flat-head screwdriver. However, most stores take off the sensors if the customer has a receipt.

Start by taking clippers of any kind and snipping the node off the back of the security tag. After snipping the plastic back, there is a tiny spike of metal and a piece of paper; remove both. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry up one side of the security tag. The device is made of high-strength steel, such as spring steel, and takes more effort than it appears.
