Ofloxacin Ophthalmic Solution USP is a type of anti-infective agent that is intended to treat eye infections. It fights bacterial infections in eye conditions such as conjunctivitis or corneal ulcers.

Ofloxacin belongs to a form of antibiotics known as quinolones. It works for bacterial eye infections, but it does not work for non-bacterial forms of eye infections. It is usually taken four or more times a day for the treatment of infections by instilling the solution in the eye.
