What is the oil to gas ratio of a Homelite SX-135 Bandit?
By Forinfos - 27/04/2026 - 0 comments
The required fuel ratio for Homelite SX-135 Bandit string trimmer is 50:1. To achieve this ratio, use 1 gallon of unleaded gasoline, including gasoline blended with alcohols or ether, and 2.6 ounces of two-cycle engine oil. Do not use automotive engine oil or two-cycle outboard motor oil.
Use a clean fuel container with a lid to prepare and store the fuel mixture. Homelite recommends stirring or shaking a small amount of gas with the entire quantity of oil first, then add the remaining gas and stir or shake the container again to blend the fuel and oil completely. Blended fuel, stored properly, typically stays fresh for up to 30 days.
