Derek Fisher of the Oklahoma City Thunder is the second-oldest active NBA player and will turn 40 after the conclusion of the 2013-14 season. Mike James of the Chicago Bulls, Ray Allen of the Miami Heat and Andre Miller of the Denver Nuggets round out the five oldest active players. The oldest player to ever appear in an NBA game is Nat Hickey, who suited up for a game with the Providence Steamrollers just two days shy of his 46th birthday on January 28, 1948.
