How does one bypass proxy settings in Internet Explorer?
By Forinfos - 31/05/2025 - 0 comments
In order to bypass proxy settings for complex website addresses, the addresses need to be typed in the " Don't use proxy server" box. Using a proxy server allows the administrator to limit or restrict access to the Internet. The ability of the user to modify the proxy settings can also be restricted by using the "Profile Manager," or "Policies and Restriction" page.
The proxy bypass entry might start with a protocol type like "http://," "ftp://," or "https://." If a user uses a certain protocol type, the exception entry will apply only to the requests of that particular protocol. An IP address will also be needed, and a port number should be added as well.
